Ed Souza is an independent consultant to the agricultural research industry and Adjunct Professor at Kansas State University (USA). He holds a B.Sc. in Plant Science from the University of California-Davis (USA) and a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding from Cornell University (USA). Over the course of his career Ed led teams focused on wheat breeding for improved productivity, disease and insect resistance, and superior milling and baking quality. Ed has excelled in a variety of teaching and mentoring activities, including classroom instruction, undergraduate and graduate student training, and technology transfer to agricultural producers.
